class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-a-pipeline-plug-perform-under-cyclic-pressure-conditions\">Comment un bouchon de canalisation se comporte-t-il dans des conditions de pression cyclique ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sous l'effet de contraintes cycliques, l'int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de l'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 d'un bouchon de canalisation d\u00e9pend enti\u00e8rement de la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la fatigue de sa couche adh\u00e9sive et de sa structure composite. Les essais montrent que les syst\u00e8mes standard \u00e0 base de fibre de verre se d\u00e9laminent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement entre 500 000 et 2 millions de cycles, tandis que les syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 haute t\u00e9nacit\u00e9 \u00e0 base de fibre de carbone, dot\u00e9s d\u2019appr\u00eats \u00e9poxy modifi\u00e9s au silane, conservent une adh\u00e9rence totale au-del\u00e0 de 10 millions de cycles lorsqu\u2019ils sont valid\u00e9s selon la norme ASME B31.8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-cyclic-stress-causes-bonding-failure\">Pourquoi les contraintes cycliques provoquent-elles une rupture de l'adh\u00e9rence ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les conduites soumises \u00e0 des d\u00e9marrages fr\u00e9quents de pompes, \u00e0 des cycles de fonctionnement des compresseurs ou \u00e0 des chutes de pression, la paroi de la conduite subit des contraintes radiales cycliques. Tout bouchon reposant sur un rev\u00eatement composite ou un renfort coll\u00e9 transf\u00e8re cette contrainte cyclique \u00e0 la couche adh\u00e9sive situ\u00e9e entre le composite et l\u2019acier. Au bout de milliers de cycles, le d\u00e9collement de l\u2019appr\u00eat commence au niveau des bords libres, entra\u00eenant un contournement du joint et une perte d\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-validated-data-10-million-cycle-test-results\">Donn\u00e9es valid\u00e9es : r\u00e9sultats d'essais sur 10 millions de cycles<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Notre laboratoire d'essais a soumis un syst\u00e8me de r\u00e9paration par bouchon de canalisation en fibre de carbone \u00e0 des essais de pression cycliques acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9s, conform\u00e9ment aux directives de la norme ASME B31.8. Cela explique pourquoi les syst\u00e8mes m\u00e9caniques ou renforc\u00e9s par des composites sont obligatoires pour les applications cycliques \u00e0 haute pression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les bouchons d'isolation doivent \u00eatre con\u00e7us avec un coefficient de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 compris, en r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, entre 1,25 et 1,5 fois la pression de service maximale admissible (MAOP), selon les normes de l'exploitant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-when-should-you-not-use-a-pipeline-plug\">Dans quels cas ne faut-il PAS utiliser un bouchon de canalisation ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est tout aussi important de comprendre les limites que de conna\u00eetre les capacit\u00e9s. N'utilisez pas de bouchon de canalisation dans les cas suivants :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Diam\u00e8tre int\u00e9rieur du tuyau pr\u00e9sentant une corrosion ou une piq\u00fbre importante<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 L'\u00e9l\u00e9ment d'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 ne peut pas \u00e9pouser les surfaces irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res, ce qui entra\u00eene un \u00e9coulement par contournement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ovalit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 3%<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 La plupart des bouchons n\u00e9cessitent un al\u00e9sage circulaire dont le diam\u00e8tre est compris \u00e0 3% pr\u00e8s du diam\u00e8tre nominal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D\u00e9p\u00f4ts internes importants<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 La cire, le tartre ou les hydrates emp\u00eachent le contact entre le joint et la valve et l'emp\u00eachent de se d\u00e9ployer compl\u00e8tement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eamement \u00e9lev\u00e9es<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Les \u00e9lastom\u00e8res de nitrile standard se d\u00e9gradent au-del\u00e0 de 80 \u00b0C (176 \u00b0F). Ils sont souvent utilis\u00e9s en association avec&nbsp;<strong>services de raccordement \u00e0 chaud et d'arr\u00eat de conduite<\/strong>&nbsp;pour permettre les modifications en temps r\u00e9el du pipeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compressor-and-pump-stations-high-cyclic-pressure\">Stations de compression et de pompage (haute pression cyclique)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les bouchons permettent d'isoler les canalisations de la station en vue du remplacement d'une vanne ou de l'\u00e9talonnage d'un compteur, sans avoir \u00e0 d\u00e9pressuriser la conduite principale. Cette application n\u00e9cessite l'utilisation de bouchons en fibre de carbone ou de bouchons m\u00e9caniques valid\u00e9s pour plus de 5 millions de cycles, en raison des variations quotidiennes de pression li\u00e9es aux d\u00e9marrages des compresseurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-offshore-pipelines\">Conduites offshore<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les bouchons sous-marins sont mis en place \u00e0 l'aide d'un ROV (v\u00e9hicule t\u00e9l\u00e9command\u00e9) dans le cadre d'une isolation d'urgence ou d'une maintenance programm\u00e9e. Les mod\u00e8les gonflables sont privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s en raison de leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 assurer l'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 sur des surfaces irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res dues aux d\u00e9p\u00f4ts marins ou \u00e0 la corrosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-urban-gas-distribution\">Distribution de gaz en milieu urbain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les conduites en plastique ou en fonte \u00e0 basse pression (moins de 100 psi) sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement isol\u00e9es \u00e0 l'aide de bouchons gonflables ins\u00e9r\u00e9s par des raccords d'acc\u00e8s de petit diam\u00e8tre.
