We are proud to announce the successful completion of the emergency epoxy sleeve repair project for Qinghai Gas Transmission Branch on August 6. The incident occurred in Ulan County of Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, where heavy rainfall triggered reservoir discharges upstream, exposing a natural gas pipeline to rock impacts that caused surface scratches and dents, posing serious operational risks.
To ensure stable energy supply in Qinghai, our team promptly developed a repair plan utilizing Type-A epoxy sleeve technology. The affected pipeline measured 660mm in diameter with 7.1mm wall thickness (L415 spiral pipe), designed for 6.3MPa pressure and operating at 4.0MPa.

Responding to the emergency call, our project team raced against time, covering 2,200 kilometers in 24 hours to reach the site. Immediately upon arrival, our technicians efficiently completed the Type-A epoxy sleeve installation within just 5 hours, demonstrating remarkable crisis response capabilities.

This successful operation showcased our company’s expertise in emergency pipeline repairs and rapid response capacity, earning unanimous recognition from Qinghai Gas Transmission Branch representatives. The achievement not only eliminated potential safety hazards but also contributed significantly to maintaining regional energy security.
