On June 27, 2025, the finals of the 2nd Xiongan Future City Scenario Hub – Safety & Emergency Innovation Technology Application Competition concluded successfully at the Xiongan Scenario Hub Science Park.
Organized by the Xiongan Future City Scenario Hub Committee, guided by the Department of Science, Technology, and Informatization of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and hosted by the Hebei Provincial Emergency Management Department, the competition centered on the theme “Gathering Innovation Resources · Empowering Safe Cities.” It focused on cutting-edge fields such as AI, IoT, and 5G communications, aiming to build a national “industry-academia-research-application” integrated platform for safety and emergency technologies.
The competition featured two tracks: “Advanced Applicable Equipment” and “Advanced Technologies & Solutions.” It was launched simultaneously in Xingtai and Tangshan, with 160 entries advancing from the preliminary rounds to the finals, setting a record-high level of competition intensity.
JSW stood out from 516 competing projects and 436 participants across 23 provinces with its “Permanent Pipeline Repair and Reinforcement Device,” securing the Outstanding Award in the Advanced Applicable Equipment for Safety & Emergency track. This achievement contributes “pipeline-level” innovation to Xiongan’s resilient urban safety development.
