How It Works: The Pressurized Plugging Process
The TFDQ Pipeline Plugging Device is the power source for the plugging head. In a typical hot tapping and plugging operation:

A hot tap fitting is welded and a temporary valve is installed on the live pipeline.

The tapping machine drills through the pipe wall.

The TFDQ Plugging Machine, connected to a plugging head (like an inflatable plug or mechanical fitting), is mounted onto the temporary valve.

The plugging head is inserted through the valve and into the pipeline using the machine’s manual drive and extended travel.
